Abstract submission

The deadline for the abstract submission of SEEFORT 2025 is until March 10th at 23:59 CET.

Our abstract submission procedure allows you to submit abstracts, which, if approved by the SEEFORT Abstract Team, will be included in the abstract book, and if deemed of significant value, will also be selected for a short oral presentation in the free papers session.

These are the categories of abstract submission:

  • knee
  • shoulder and elbow
  • hip
  • spine
  • foot and ankle
  • orthopaedic nursing
  • orthopaedic rehabilitation
  • free topics

Abstracts can represent original research or, in exceptional cases, when dealing with a completely new and unknown case or a novel surgical technique, a case/technique report. NEW at the SEEFORT conference! For the first time, SEEFORT will also allow the presentation of short review papers in the form of abstracts and oral presentations in the free papers session. The aim of this innovation is to enable younger colleagues, especially residents and young orthopedic surgeons, to present their areas of work and interest and to inform conference participants about the latest developments in their fields. Short review papers incorporating insights from the latest scientific research in specific areas will thus serve to expand and enrich the knowledge of all participants and adopt new trends in the world of orthopedics, also providing excellent preparation for residents’ board exams.

The abstract submission system is accessible through the SEEFORT website. SEEFORT does not accept resubmissions. Only abstracts submitted electronically will be considered. Authors can consult their abstract(s) directly on the submission platform.

Any special query (changes in information of authors, update of conflict of interest disclosures) needs to be addressed by email to: seefort@filidatravel.hr

  • Double submissions will be discarded.
  • SEEFORT reserves the right to change the category of your abstract during the review process.

All co-authors were required to disclose individual conflicts of interest. Failure to complete all the disclosures will result in the rejection of the abstract.

A maximum of three oral presentations will be accepted per registered participant.

Please be aware that the email addresses of co-authors given during the submission process will be used to ensure all communications from the SEEFORT Abstract Team.
